Angelina Porfidio Maze, age 94, passed away on Monday (May 26th, 2014) at Forest Park Health Campus. She was born in Marcianise, Italy on December 11th, 1919 to Salvatore and Felice Porfidio and had lived in this area until 1971. She worked at Alcoa for 16 years, when she moved to Sebring, Florida. In Florida, Angelina volunteered and served meals for the Knights of Columbus. She also enjoyed cruises, dancing, and most of all spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her time at Forest Park, where the staff enjoyed her company. Survivors include a brother Charles "Larry" Porfidio; nieces Angela (Mike) Richter, Anita (Gus) Gonzalez, Pat (Butch) Lehman, and Janet Howard; nephew Larry Grandinette; and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, her husband Louis "Bud" Maze, sisters Josephine Grandinette and Ann Daniel, niece Sondra Winget, and nephew David Grandinette are also deceased. Liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday (May 31st, 2014) at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends may call on Saturday (May 31st, 2014) from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church.
