Obituary

Anna M. Hofer, age 91, passed away on Friday (March 31st 2017) at Forest Park Health Campus. She was born in Richmond on March 23rd 1926 to Carl & Irene Simons and had lived here all her life. She had worked at PRC for 24 years, and later became a homemaker. She was a life member of Saint Andrew Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Doan; grandchildren Eddie (Bridgett) Doan,Theresa (Bill) Farmer, and Tammy (Bruce) Dargie; great grandchildren Emily, Robert, Dominic, Brittany, Gregory, Alan, Eli, Ethan, David, Rachel, Moriah, Angelina, Zoe, Lily, and Simeon; special friend Lena Mullens, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Williams Simons and Carl Simons Jr.; sisters Mary Salyer and Virginia Howard. A son in law William E. Doan I is also deceased.
The family would like to thank both Asera Care Hospice and Forest Park Health Campus for their kindness and compassion during Anna's final days.
Services for Anna will be held on Saturday (April 8th 2017) at 1 p.m. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Deacon Frank Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m at the funeral home. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Anna's memory may do so by donating to American Legion Auxiliary (P.O.
