Audrey K. Downing, age 85, of Richmond, died Friday (October 27. 2006) at the home of her son. She was born in Preston, Idaho on February 26, 1921 to Herman and Mary Evans Keller and had lived in Connersville for many years before moving to Richmond in 1987. She was a homemaker and co-owner of the former City Bowling Alley and Park Bowl in Connersville, the former Carth-Knight Bowl in Carthage and of Do-Ri-Me Bowling Lanes in Richmond. She was an avid bowler and still bowled in three leagues at the age of 85. Audrey was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed genealogy and cross-stitch. She was a World War II veteran of the US Navy. Her husband, George Downing, died on September 26, 1978.

Elaine (Britt) Reed of Richmond,
Joyce (Stacy) Mopps of Richmond;
Sons Mike (Tami) Downing of Centerville, Indiana
John (Rae) Downing of Richmond;
Sister Kay Anderson of Utah;
Brothers Ralph Keller of Washington; Alan Keller of Utah, Larry Keller of Idaho;
25 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews
a sister, Beverly Barber, three granddaughters and a great granddaughter are also deceased.
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday (November 4, 2006) in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (3333 Backmeyer Road, Richmond). Burial will be in Dale Cemetery in Connersville. Friends may call on Friday (November 3, 2006) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary in Richmond.
