Barbara J. Gausepohl Fratis, age 83, of Richmond, died Friday evening (May 16, 2008) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Richmond on January 6, 1925 to John and Grace Stanton Gausepohl and had lived here most of her life.� She was a 1942 graduate of Richmond High School and had worked at the former Wayne Works.� She retired as an employee of the Richmond Street Department.� She was a member of Saint Mary Church and of the Wayne Works 25 Year Club.� She was an avid bowler, greatly enjoyed reading and was the former secretary for the Toschlog Reunion.�
Survivors include her nephew Gordon (Marcia) Juhasz of Richmond, her niece - Julie Juhasz Finn of Beaver Creek, Ohio; brother-in-law - John Juhasz of Richmond; great niece - Wendi (Gary) Stapleton;� great great niece - Casey Stapleton;� great great nephews- Sean Stapleton, Damon Finn, Zack Finn and Justin Finn�
Two sisters, Doris Juhasz and Phyllis Gausepohl, are also deceased.�
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday (May 20, 2008) in Saint Mary Church.� Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery.� Friends may call on Tuesday (May 20, 2008) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Saint Mary Church.� Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary Church in care of 240 South 6th St.� Richmond, Indiana� 47374.� www.riggle-waltermann.com
