Charles E. Pierson, age 74, of Richmond, died Thursday (February 4, 2010) at his residence. He was born in Richmond on January 16, 1936 to Robert and Mary Stikeleather Pierson and had lived here all of his life. He was a retired employee of Glazer Scrap Corporation. Survivors include his brothers - Kenny Pierson of Richmond, Russell Pierson of Winchester; step-son - Raymond Boyd of Richmond; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. His wife, Alberta Pierson, is also deceased. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday (February 9, 2010) in Elkhorn Cemetery. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate.
