D. Jean Stemple, age 72, of Whitewater, died Thursday (May 4, 2017) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on March 11, 1945 to Frank and Fran Masters Ketron and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and had worked as a teacher's aide at Whitewater Elementary. She had also worked at Sears and at the former Ted's Floral Center. She was a member of Whitewater Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband Ron Stemple, whom she married on October 12, 1963; children Scott Stemple of Whitewater and Shari (Randy) King of Germantown, Ohio; grandchildren Ben Lewan, Nathan Lewan, Devon King, Mamie King; brother Jerry Ketron; niece Kellie Ketron and nephew Lee Ketron. She also leaves her special companion "Buttercup".
Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday (May 9, 2017) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary with Troy Beckner officiating. Friends may call on Monday (May 8, 2017) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
