Dorothy J. McMillan of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 14, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born in Fountain City, Indiana on November 5, 1934 to Robert Barker and Marie Barker Conner. Dorothy graduated from Fountain City High School and was married to George McMillan for over 50 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Tony (Staci) McMillian, Rob (Linda) McMillan and Cindy Kersey; sisters-in-law Betty Barker and Barbara Barker Jenkins; 8 grandchildren Melissa, Daniel, Brian, Shannon, Jackson, Cody, Brady and Colten; 7 great grandchildren Luna, Trey, Mara, Walker, Kellan, Michael, Easton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, father, step-father, 4 brothers, a baby sister, granddaughter Reagan and husband of 50+ years George McMillan.

Services for Dorothy will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday May 22, 2023, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. A public viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday May 22, 2023, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. A private burial of ashes will follow at a later date in Earlham Cemetery alongside her husband George McMillan in the Veterans Field of Honor.
