Harry E. Stenger, age 84, of Centerville, died Wednesday morning (June 1, 2005) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Cedar Grove, Indiana on March 17, 1921 to Fred and Violet Quinlan Stenger and had lived in Centerville since 1953. He had worked as a field engineer for Richmond Homes and was a retired self-employed construction worker. He was a member of Holy Family Church.
Survivors include - Wife - Eileen Stenger (to whom he would have been married 58 years on June 25, 2005)
Daughters - Victoria (Peter) Davis of Indianapolis
Kathleen (Charles G., III) Hunt of Chugiak, Alaska
Linda Stenger of Indianapolis
Sister - Doris Stenger of Centerville
2 Grandsons - Andrew (Stacie) Hunt of Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Gregory (Maelynn) Hunt of Palmer, Alaska
Great Grandson - Chandler Hunt
A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday (June 4, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary, followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family Church. Father Todd Riebe will officiate Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana. Friends may call on Friday (June 3, 2005) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
