Hershel Bige "Marc" Meadows, 73, of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 7, 2025. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 1, 1952 to Junior Hershel and Margaret (McLean) Meadows.

Hershel loved his family and if he called you a friend, he meant it with all his heart. He was highly intelligent although he would downplay that fact. He was humble and kind, he loved animals and nature. Hershel often told stories of playing scrabble and drinking Boones Farm wine with his Momma. He was a man of many talents and professionalism and his kind and loyal spirit will forever live on. He will be missed by many, despite his occasional inappropriate jokes, especially missed by his best friend Trina Risch who loved him dearly. Until we meet again.

He is preceded in death by his parents Junior Hershel and Margaret (McLean) Meadows.
