James H. Cohee, age 65, of Richmond, died Tuesday evening (April 21, 2009) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on November 20, 1943 to Howard W. and Verna Dowell Cohee and was a 1963 graduate of Richmond High School. Jim was a chef having worked in several restaurants in various locations around the country before moving back to Richmond about 20 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Survivors include his companion - Bill Bowman; daughters - Belinda (David) Kilgus of Richmond, Sheree Cohee of Muncie; sister - Sheree (Earl) Koons of Richmond; 3 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, Howard Cohee, is also deceased. Friends may call on Friday (April 24, 2009) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
