James Delbert Fleenor, age 74, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Thursday (November 17, 2005) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Mendota, Virginia on May 2, 1931 to James C. and Mae Smith Fleenor and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a retired 40 year employee of Wayne Works and had also worked for Mendenhall Hardware. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 65.
Survivors include - Wife - Florence Fleenor, to whom he was married 52 years

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday (November 21, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. David Layman will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday (November 20, 2005) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
