Jean Sage, age 84, formerly of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (August 24, 2004) in Saint Vincent Carmel Hospital. She was born in Neoga, Illinois on July 21, 1920 to Walter and Marie Frances Roe Johnson and had lived in Richmond for over 50 years before moving to Evansville in 2000 and then to Indianapolis in 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church. Her husband, Dr. Charles V. Sage, died July 24, 2001.
Survivors include - Daughter - Sara (husband Jim) Risinger of Westfield, Indiana
Son - Charles "Sonny" (wife Pat) Sage of North Canton, Ohio
Sister - Jewell Durbin Quinn of Anderson, Indiana
Grandchildren - Chuck Sage, Anne Shingleton, Jay Risinger and John
Risinger
Great Grandchildren - Chelsea, Nathan, Jay, Alex and Avery
Private services will be held on Friday (August 27, 2004) in Earlham Mausoleum. There will be no public calling. Memorial contributions may be made to the Reid Hospital Foundation, 1401 Chester Blvd. Richmond, Indiana 47374.
