Kenneth "Kenny" L. Lay, age 60, passed away Friday (August 16, 2013) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on January 14, 1953 to Claude and Nancy Lay and had lived here most of his life. He attended Richmond and Liberty Schools. Kenny was an over the road truck driver for many years. He also attended Gateway Vineyard Fellowship. Survivors include a brother, Gary (Sheri) Lay of Richmond; two sisters, Cheryl (Ivan) Begley of Liberty and Connie (Bradley) Ropp of Richmond; many special nieces and nephews who were like his own children. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Patricia A. Lay and a brother Roger M. Lay. Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday (August 21, 2013) at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday (August 21, 2013) at the funeral home. Pastors Chris Monaghan and Harold Young will officiate.
