Laura Kay (Proffitt) Hoover, age 55 of Williamsburg passed away Saturday (July 30, 2016) at Reid Hospital. She was born on November 30, 1960 in New Castle, Indiana to George and Betty Proffitt. Kay loved spending time on the farm with her horses. She took great pride in teaching bible school in Dillwyn, Virginia. Kay was a positive person who always looked for the good in people, she will be missed by many.

Survivors include her devoted and loving husband Jeff Hoover; Daughters Amy Martin, Amanda Hoover and Pamela Sanders; grandchildren Skylar, Kaitlyn, Noah, Caleb and Kaura. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her son Clayton Barricks.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday (August 7, 2016) at United Methodist Church, 215 N Elm Street Losantville, Indiana 47354.
