Maggie I. Mullen, age 81, of Richmond, died Monday afternoon (December 5, 2005) at Oakridge Rehab and Specialty Care. She was born in Bentonville, Indiana on August 4, 1924 to Caleb and Tabitha Hughes and had lived in this area most of her life moving back here from Bullhead City, Arizona in 1999 where she had lived for 10 years. She had worked in homecare nursing and was a retired employee of the former Avco Corporation. Her husband, James I. Mullen, died on December 9, 2000.
Survivors include - Daughters Carol Conner of Connersville, Beverly Sadler of Franklin, Tennessee, Nancy Clauson of Port Hueneme, California, Rebecca Jones of Richmond, Sons - Cecil Richardson of Muncie, Stanley Richardson of Franklin, Tennessee, Brother - Bill Hughes of Bullhead City, Arizona, 18 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday (December 7, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (December 7, 2005) from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
