Mary Alice Holliday, age 89, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (October 4, 2012) She was born in Wayne County on February 26, 1923 to Orie Sr. and Mary Byrd Graver and had lived in this area all of her life. She was an active in various community events and activities and attended the First United Methodist Church and First Christian Church. Survivors include her husband of ten years - Chuck Holliday; daughters - Mary Anne Stolle of Richmond, Janice (Kelly Tegue) Moura of Livermore, California, Joanna (John) Woltja of Kettering, Ohio; son - James (Linda) Mathews of Charlotte, North Carolina; brother - Richard Graver of Louisville, Kentucky, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, her first husband, John Mathews, second husband, John Lamberson, brother, Orie Graver, Jr., great granddaughter Timbre Parris and son-in-law, Tom Stolle, are also deceased There will be no public calling. As Mary Alice wished, her remains were donated to the Indiana University School of Medicine. Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
