Othy Earl Borden, age 75, of Richmond, died Saturday afternoon (February 26, 2005) at Oakridge Rehab and Specialty Care. He was born in Richmond on June 11, 1929 to Omer J. and Maggie Evans Borden and had lived here all of his life. He had worked for Achieva Resources (formerly Green Acres) and he was a member of the First Southern Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday (March 1, 2005) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Grady Slaven and Rev. David Leffel will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (March 1, 2005) from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
