Richard Jan Goins, age 60, of Madeira Beach, Florida, passed away on Sunday (September 18, 2011) after a lengthly illness. Rick was born on August 10, 1951 to William and Flora McKinney Goins. He attended Richmond Community Schools and graduated from Richmond High School in 1969. Rick served in the US Marine Corp from 1970 thru 1971. He was the former owner of Ricsco Plumbing and Heating, Midwest Climate Control and Midwest Mechanical. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Earl Thomas Goins and his sister Margaret Ann Estep. He is survived by his children - Brandi (Joe) Rosenberger of Centerville, Kaylee Goins of Hagerstown; sister - Pamela (Malcolm) Merkamp of Centerville; brother - Danny Goins of Richmond; grandchildren - Micaila, Madison and Mason Rosenberger of Centerville, Brandon Monaghan of Hagerstown; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday (September 29, 2011) in Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3469 Hillcrest Road, Richmond (off of State Road 38).
