Richard "Dick" Allen Nicholson, 71, beloved Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and Great Uncle was called to his eternal resting place on November 21, 2016. He was born on April 1, 1945 in Wayne County, Indiana to Helen Lucille (Jacobsen) Nicholson and Frederick Earl Nicholson. He is survived by 4 brothers- David E. Nicholson of Richmond, Ronnie K. (Diane) Nicholson of Fountain City, Donnie L. (Dawn) Nicholson of Hagerstown and Darrell W. (Laura) Nicholson of Greensburg; sister-in-law Armetta Nicholson of Richmond; several cousins, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by special family friend Melony Sullivan of Economy. Dick worked at Eaton Gear and later at Belden Corp. before he retired. He farmed for many years and loved Farmall and International farm tractors. He was a very loving and giving person and was always ready to help anyone who asked him.
A public Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday (November 25, 2016) in St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery. Father John Luerman will officiate. No public visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Dick's name to the American Cancer Society (5635 W 96th St Ste 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278) or the Alzheimer's Association (P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090).
