Obituary

Richard F. (Dick) Wheeler, age 69, of New Paris, OH passed away on Sunday (October 11th 2015) at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a short illness.
Preceded in death by his mother Catherine Lowe; survived by his brother Jack (Donna) Wheeler of New Paris, OH; nephews Greg Stevens of Richmond and Mike (Tammy) Stevens of New Paris, OH; daughter Geneva (Mark) Clark of TN; grandson Dustin Smith of TN; special friends Billy C. Cummins and Terry (Karen) Scheibler.
Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the American Legion Post 65. He was an avid baseball player, golfer, and bowler.
He was a hard worker of 40 years at West Vaco/International Paper in Eaton, OH. He enjoyed his retirement golfing, relaxing, and enjoying time spent with his brother and sister in law, and his many friends.
Dick was a fun loving man that enjoyed life. He was generous and had a big heart to all that were close to him. Up until he passed, he worried about the needs of others. He will be missed by all that were a close part of his life.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Dick's name to the Veterans Association of America (Veterans Association of America, Inc. P.O. Box 309 Audubon Station New York, New York 10032-0309)
