Ronald Sydney "Skip" Kuhlman (Stier) age 59 of Richmond, passed on to be with the Lord at 8:50 pm on Friday (November 19, 2010). He was a veteran of the US Army and also served in the National Guard. Ron leaves behind several dear friends and family such as best friends, whom he thought of as brothers , John Byrd (wife Tammie), Bill Lawman (wife Betty) and Lucas Worley (wife Carrie) who he considered a son. Other dear friends who he considered as nieces and nephews include Patrick Byrd, Daniel Byrd, Tiffany Shaffer, Kelly Whitaker and their children, whom he thought of as grandkids, Hannah, Sydney, David, Samantha, Christopher, Jonathon, Natalie, Audrey, Breanna, Tanner. He also leaves friends Steve, John, Berry, Greg and many more. He was preceded in death by grandsons Lucas Worley, Jr and Christopher Lee Byrd. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday (November 23, 2010) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
