Sally Lee Bartindale died peacefully at her home on January 19, 2023. Sally was born in Angola, IN September 2, 1936, the daughter of Virgil and Martha McClish. Sally is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years George Bartindale, her sister Marianne Jenkins of Mariemont, OH, her brother James McClish of Martinsville, IN, her daughter Marta (Rex) Strickland of Mount Dora, FL, son Michael (Kathryn) Bartindale of Saint Charles, IL , five grandchildren, Matthew (Catherine) Bartindale, Ellen (Tim) Castellini, Gina (Alex) Patnoe, Geoffrey (Shirah) Strickland, and Jordan (Tracy) Strickland and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Matthew Bartindale, her sister Rebecca Wisner and great grandson Lane Strickland.

She has resided in Richmond, IN since 1961. Sally worked at the Wayne County Court house for 45 years as bailiff and retired in 2019. She was honored with a Day of Appreciation, August 9, 2019 for Wayne County Court House for her years of service. Sally was a loving mother, grandmother and wife, dog lover and antique collector.

Visitation will be held at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary on Saturday, January 28th from 12:00PM to 2:00PM and a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00PM.
