Violet June Kemp went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. In the end, she was victorious. June was a loving, warm, and caring mother and grandmother who loved to play bingo. She also loved to be with her large family. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Paul Kemp; 4 daughters, Diana (Phil) Hunt of Athens, TN, Mary Gray, Anita Ailey and Nancy (Rob) Whitted all of Winchester. 2 sons, Steve Kemp and Roger Kemp, both of Winchester; step-son, Bobby (Kay) Kemp of Ewing, KY. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Pearl Crass, one brother, Clyde Crass; two sisters, Lula Mae VanAuken and Edna Ray. Instead of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Cancer Services of Randolph County Services will be held on Tuesday (December 23, 2014) at 1:00 P.M. in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (December 23, 2014) from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
