Virgil C. Berry, age 83, of Richmond, died Monday (June 11, 2012) in Grandview, Tennessee. He was born in Kentucky on June 25, 1928 to Paul and Lily Reed Berry and had lived here most of his life. He had worked as a cement finisher. Survivors include his wife - Cleo Berry; children - Juanita Yant of Richmond, Donna (David) Godwin of Grandview, Tennessee; Barbara Garrison of Spring City, Tennessee, Troy Berry of Grandview, Tennessee, Jack (Cindy) Berry of Richmond; brothers - Roy Berry of Richmond, Paul Berry, Jr., of Richmond, Kenneth Berry of Richmond; sisters - Mavis Smith of Trotwood, Ohio and Jeanette Hurst of Kettering, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (June 16, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Bishop Robert Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
