Walter L. "Roy" Greeson, age 79, formerly of Richmond, died unexpectedly Monday evening (August 27, 2007) at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.� He was born in Union County, Indiana on April 25, 1928 to Walter E. and Elizabeth Connor Greeson and had lived in this area most of his life before moving to Indianapolis 9 years ago.� He was a graduate of Short High School in Liberty, Indiana and had attended Earlham College.� Roy was a Air Force veteran of the Korean War and had worked for Universal Electric. He retired from Kirby-Risk Electrical Supply and was employed part-time by Marsh Supermarkets. He was a member of Saint John Lutheran Church in Richmond where he had been active in the Stephen Ministry. �He was also a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife - Kitty Greeson; daughters - Kelle Greeson of Cincinnati and Cheryle Tryner of Willow Springs, North Carolina; son - Michael Greeson of Richmond;� brothers - Robert E. Greeson of Connersville, William Greeson of Haines City, Florida, Raymond E. Greeson of Richmond and Thomas L. Greeson of Williamsburg, Indiana;� sister - Carolyn Borradaile of San Antonio, Texas;� step-children - Alan and Deb Vickery of Noblesville and Jerry and Renee Walden of Speedway;� 4 grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

His first wife, Lova M. Greeson,� died on February 19, 1996.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (August 31, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Pastor Steve Reeves of Connection Pointe Christian Church will officiate.� Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.� Friends may call on Thursday (August 30, 2007 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.� Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 9235 N. Meridian St., Suite B-4, Indianapolis, Indiana� 46209-7109. or to a favorite charity.��
