Agee Overton, age 67, of Richmond, died Saturday evening (November 1, 2008) at his residence. He was born in Fork Mountain, Tennessee on July 26, 1941 to Ed and Marie Bunch Overton and had lived here for the past 35 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a retired 17 year employee of Visteon. Survivors include his wife of 35 years - Nancy Overton; daughter - Lisa Moore of Clifton, Tennessee; son - Creighton Overton of Dayton, Ohio; brothers - Bill Overton and Arvel Overton both of Tennessee; sisters - Etta Davis and Nellie Daugherty both of Tennessee; 2 grandsons, a granddaughter and 1 great grandson, nieces and nephews. A son, Ethan Overton, died on December 27, 1996. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday (November 5, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Russell Fraley will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Friends may call on Tuesday (November 4, 2008) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
