Alan Ray Gulley, age 50, formerly of the Richmond - Centerville area, died unexpectedly Saturday (September 8, 2007) at the home of his son in Gratis, Ohio.� He was born in Moorehead, Kentucky on September 20, 1956 to William A. and LouAnn Parsons Gulley and had lived in this area most of his life.� He was a 1974 graduate of Centerville High School and had worked in industrial construction.

Survivors include his wife - Cathlene Gulley;� daughters - Jessica (Bill) Gilliam of Bossier City, Louisiana, Amy (Shane) Hawkins of Columbus, Ohio, Elizabeth Rae Gulley of Houma, Louisiana; son - William "Bill" (Emily) Gulley of Gratis, Ohio; father - William A. "Bill" Gulley of Richmond; sisters - Marla Gulley of Richmond, Regina (Scott) Shepard of Centerville, Vickie Gulley of Richmond; two step-daughters - Davina (Justin) Sholty of Richmond and Tricia (Shannon) Atkins of Eaton, Ohio;� six grandchildren - Lydia, Steven, Jaizee, Hannah, Nolen and Anne; five step-grandchildren - Chassidy, David, Tanner, Sierra and Jerrica;� nieces and nephews.� He also leaves his first wife - Paula Burt of Houma, Louisiana.

His mother, LouAnn Gulley, died November 20, 2006.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday (September 12. 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Kevin Shindoll will officiate.� Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.� Friends may call on Tuesday (September 11, 2007) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.�
