Alice E. James, age 69, of Richmond, died Sunday afternoon (February 17, 2013) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on January 28, 1944 to John and Zelma Shaffer Clark and had lived here all of her life. She had worked at the Blue Ribbon Laundromat. Alice was a homemaker and loved to play bingo. Her husband, Amos , preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Alisa James, Billy (Inez) James, Donald (Tara) James, Jessie (Jill) Mitchell, Tonia Mitchell and Joby (Christina) Mitchell all of Richmond; sisters, Edna Huntington and Rose Powell; grandchildren, Pam, Christie, LeeAnn, Clara, Sara, Summer, Sierra, Wesley, Billy, Daisy, Jessie Jr., Dezeree', Justice; great grandchildren, Michael, Angle, Carolynn, Briana, Trinity, Gloriana, Allison, Karen, Caden. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday (February 22, 2013) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Russell Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (February 22, 2013) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
