Angela R. Brinker, age 90, of Richmond, died Sunday (August 20, 2006) at Friends Fellowship Community. She was born in Richmond on November 19, 1915 to Mathew and Irene Issen Brinker and had lived here most of her life. She was a 1938 graduate of the Indiana University School of Nursing and served in the Army Nurse Corp during World War II. She retired in 1976 as Director of Nursing at Reid Hospital. Angela was a member of Saint Andrew Church and a former member of Altrusa Club and of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honorary. Survivors include Sisters Rose Morrison of Richmond,- Ruth Stearns of Richmond; Nieces & Nephews Her brothers, James, Paul, Robert, John and Fred Brinker, and sister, Jean Stolle, are also deceased. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday (August 24, 2006) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Andrew Church. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery Friends may call on Wednesday (August 23, 2006) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
