Anita A. Ailey, age 63, passed away on Monday (March 13th 2017) in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Tennessee on July 30th 1953 to Paul & June Kemp. She moved to this area in 1960's. She had worked for 20 years at Landis Plastics here in Richmond. She loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. Anita was a proud breast cancer survivor.

Survivors include her children Traci (Todd) Robinson, Dawson (Kym) Miller, Christina (Scott) Brechbiel, and Trenton (Rebecca Hampton) Pipes; siblings Mary Gray, Steve Kemp, Roger Kemp, and Nancy (Rob) Whitted; grandchildren Chelsea, Morgan, Emily, Kyla, Charlie, Julianna, Alyvia, Lauren, Skyanne, Aaron, Marie, Addie, and Ashton; special aunt Faye Crass; nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Diane Hunt.

Services for Anita will be held on Saturday (March 18th 2017) at 1 p.m. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Anita's name to the Anita Ailey funeral fund in care of the funeral home (32 South 11th St. Richmond, IN 47374)
