Anna Marie Throp Mason, age 101, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (October 28, 2018) at Reid Health. She was born in Union City, Indiana on December 17, 1916 to Harry V. and Ella Ehrhart Throp and had lived most of her life in the Richmond area. She was a graduate of the Union City Indiana High School. Anna had worked at the former Julian's Clothing Store for 25 years. She was a devoted member of First Christian Church and loved talking about and observing clouds, where she visualized waving to all from above. Her husband, Kenneth Mason, died in 1977.

Survivors include her daughter Michaelle "Mikie" (Mike) Maze of New Castle, Indiana; two granddaughters Colleen Myers of New Castle, Indiana and Leann Steers of New Castle, Indiana; 5 great grandchildren. A sister, Edith Schulke, is also deceased.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday (November 2, 2018) at First Christian Church (100 South 10th St). Rev. Cindy Ploughe will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday (November 2, 2018) from 11 AM to 1 PM at the church.
