Anne E. Bryant, age 93, of Richmond, died Saturday (August 2, 2008) at her residence.� She was born in Union City, Indiana on April 15, 1915 to Joseph M. and Myrtle Clear Thornburg and had lived here since 1956.� She was a graduate of Union City High School and received bachelor's and master's degrees from Ball State University.� She had taught school for thirty four years primarily in special education.� Eighteen years of her career were with Richmond Community Schools.� She was a member of First Christian Church, the Indiana and Wayne County Retired Teachers Associations and had been an active volunteer at the former Green Acres (now known as Achieva Resources).� Her husband, Eldon Bryant, died on November 17, 1991.�Survivors include her son - B.J. (Pam) Bryant of Richmond, daughters - Carolyn Bryant of Richmond and Linda Bryant of Charleston, South Carolina;� 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.�An infant daughter, Delores Ann Bryant, died in 1944.� A daughter, Janice Mosier, died in 2005.�A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday (August 9, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery.� Friends may call on Saturday (August 9, 2008) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.� Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 100 South 10th St., Richmond, IN 47374.�
