Anthony B. Garrett, age 52, of Richmond, died Monday (September 16, 2013) at his residence. He was born in Richmond on February 28, 1961 to James Garrett and Mary Catherine Lee Boga and had lived in California most of his life before moving back to Richmond four years ago. He had worked in sales/telemarketing and was a veteran of the US Navy. Survivors include his sister, Trina (Terry) Roberts of Richmond; uncles, Tom (Glenda) Lee of Richmond, Jack Garentino of Rhode Island; cousin, Doug Garentino of Richmond, step-mother, Traci Garrett of Alameda, California, good friend, Jonathon Pierce of Richmond; all of his friends at Atlas Apartments and his constant companion, his cat "Pookie".
