Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Stinson, age 59, passed away Sunday (August 4, 2013) at his home. He was born in Richmond on August 27, 1953 to Curtis A. and Opal R. Kegley Stinson and had lived here all his life. He worked at Reid Hospital in environmental services and also drove a school bus. Tony was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Indianapolis Colts fan, and loved to play golf. Survivors include his daughter Coty Stinson, sons Clinton (Sarah) Stinson of Dexter, Missouri; Collin Stinson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Kyle (Kim) Stinson of Liberty, Indiana; Derek (Cyndi) of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers Asa (Barbara) Stinson of Rising Fawn, Georgia; Roger Stinson of Richmond, sister Rita (Carl) Lindsey of Richmond; granddaughter Olivia Hunter; grandsons Cole, Levi, Jacob, George, and Lucas Stinson and Beloved Nieces and Nephews In addition to his parents, Brothers Carl R. Stinson, Ralph Stinson, and sisters Barbara Leo, Elsie Denton, Margie Newton, and Linda Stinson are also deceased. Services for Tony will be held on Friday (August 9, 2013) at 1:00 p.m. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Bryan Amick will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery in the Veterans Field of Honor where Military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Friends may call on Thursday (August 8, 2013) from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Tony's name to the Anthony Stinson fund in care of the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
