Ardin R. Chaney, age 85, passed away on Tuesday November 2, 2021, while at home. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on September 7, 1936, to John L. and Dorothy Paul Chaney and had lived in the area all his life. Ardin graduated from Richmond High School, class of 1955. He married his sweetheart Iona "Toni" Coffey on January 14, 1966. Ardin worked for Johns Manville Corporation and retired after 35 1/2 years of service. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Toni; sisters Edna Lacy-Leona Longworth, Leuna Longworth, Marilyn Chaney and Wanda Berhalter; brothers John A., Calvin, and Larry Chaney.

Services for Ardin will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday November 8, 2021, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will immediately follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Monday November 8, 2021, at the funeral home.
