Arlene K. Fetzer, age 56, of Richmond, died Monday morning (September 14, 2009) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on February 8, 1953 to Herbert and Edith Young Brokamp and had lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and received a bachelor's and master's degree from Ball State University. She was employed by Richmond Community Schools having taught at Dennis and Hibberd Middle Schools. Arlene was a member of Faith-Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 27 years - Dudley Fetzer; sons - Brett Fetzer, of Indianapolis, Kurt Fetzer of Valparaiso, Jason Fetzer of Indianapolis, Jimmy Fetzer of Lafayette; granddaughter - Cassi Fetzer of Indianapolis; sister - Roxann (Rusty) Hollingsworth of Richmond; mother-in-law - Arbutus Fetzer of Richmond; sister-in-law - Judy Harris of Richmond; an aunt - Carem Young of Rushville; nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (September 18, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Judi Marshall and Rusty Hollingsworth will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Thursday (September 17, 2009) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
