Barbara Anderson, age 68, of Richmond died on Friday (October 12, 2018) at Reid Hospital. Barbara was born on December 27, 1949 to Rastis and Edith Wilson Pierce in Richmond, Indiana. After graduating from RHS she worked at PRC, Alcoa and Wernle. She attended the Wesleyan church for many years and Fountain City Friends Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, crafts and loved music. Barbara always loved working with kids in some way. She would volunteer at Kids Club and took care of the neighborhood kids.

Survivors include her husband Ted Anderson; children Carri (Eric) Evans, Missy Smith and Tagg (Kathy) Anderson; brothers Doc (Judy) Pierce and Tom Pierce; grand children Courtney, Jordan (Brooke), Taylor, Josh, Alyssa and Zoey; great grandchildren Peyton, Kinsley and Grayson; special nieces and nephews Tyler, Jamie (Crystal), Tucker, Paxton and Brixton. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Arv Pierce; sister in-law Dottie Pierce and brother in-law Tim Anderson.

Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday (October 18, 2018) at Wesleyan Church. Pastor David Anderson will officiate the service. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (October 17, 2018) from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choosing in Barbara's name.
