Barbara J. Butler, age 80, passed away on Saturday (March 22, 2014) at Reid Hospital. She was born on September 27, 1933 to Kenneth and Josephine Street and had lived here all of her life. She was a wonderful grandmother, who loved being around her grandchildren. She particularly liked watching them participate in sporting events. She was also an avid animal lover. Survivors include her husband of 61 years John Butler, sons Stephen (Lawren) Butler of Brookvile, Gary (Brenda) Butler and Joe (Kristy) Butler, both of Richmond; Daughters Traci Butler, Vicki (Jim) Little, Rebecca Butler, and Kim (Daryl) Sperry; A brother Larry (Joyce) Street; Sister Jackie Fasnacht; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, her brother Kenneth Street, Sister Norma "Tootie" Butler, brother in law Bob Fasnacht, sister in law Janet Street, and great niece Sarah Cooper preceded her in death. Services for Barbara will be held on Saturday (March 29 2014) at Fountain City Wesleyan Church at 12 p.m. Pastor David Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery.
