Barbara Porter Gross, age 76, of Richmond, died Saturday evening (April 5, 2008) at Golden Living Center - Golden Rule.� She was born in Wayne County on October 1, 1931 to Richard and Mildred Bettenbroke Porter and had lived here all of her life.� She was a homemaker and had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.� Her husband, Gene Gross, died on January 13, 2008.�Survivors include her daughters - Diane Doty of Ohio and Pamela Ashbrook of Dayton, Ohio; son - Butch Doty of West College Corner, Ohio;� sisters - Marilyn Stevens of Richmond, Dorothy Pierce of Grove City, Pennsylvania; brothers - Richard Porter of Richmond, Bobby Porter of Connersville; an uncle - Bill Porter; her "grand-dogs"� Sammy and JoJo; nieces and nephews.� A brother, Ralph Porter, is also deceased. �Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday (April 8, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Pastor Zary Shealy will officiate.� Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.� Friends may call on Tuesday (April 8, 2008) from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.�� www.riggle-waltermann.com
