Barbara A., Myers, age 80, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (February 14, 2018) at Arbor Trace. She was born in Richmond on December 24, 1937 to William C. and Helen L. Rohrer Johnson and had lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and retired as office manager for Prudential Life Insurance after 27 years of employment. Barbara was a loving wife and mother. She was an active member of First Christian Church and of the Christian Women's Fellowship at the church. She loved to play cards and dominoes and was an avid reader where she accumulated a library of over 3000 volumes.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Myers; daughters Debra (Dan) Norris and Jane Ann (Jeff Huber) Turner; son Daniel Scott (Sandy) Myers; brother William E. Johnson of Goldsboro, North Carolina; daughter-in-law Julie Myers; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a son, John Timothy Myers is also deceased.

Services will be conducted on Tuesday (February 20, 2018) at 1:00 p.m. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Russell Haitch will officiate.
