Barbara Ann Sammons, age 83, of Richmond, died late Sunday night (December 19, 2010) at Reid Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1927 in Loyall, Kentucky to Homan and Emma Saylor and had lived in Richmond all of her adult life. She met and married John Allen Sammons on August 19, 1950. Survivors include her daughter �" Denise of Richmond; son �" Vincent of Clayton, Indiana; one brother and one sister both of Louisville, Kentucky, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, one brother and one sister. Friends may call on Wednesday (December 22, 2010) from 12:00 to 2:00 pm in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary.
