Bessie N. McDaniel, age 77, of Richmond, died Sunday evening (May 19, 2013) at Heritage House of Richmond. She was born in Rockwood, Tennessee on March 17, 1936 to Arthur T. and Frances P. Webb Williams and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband Dave McDaniel whom she married in 1954; children, Naomi (Mike) McKendree of Greens Fork, Dwayne (Sandy) McDaniel of Tennessee, Penny (Rodney) Lanter of New Paris, Shane (Betsy) McDaniel of Greens Fork; sister, Anna Lou (Bob) McDaniel; grandchildren, Abnie (Bryson) Hunt, Jessie McDaniel, Clayton McDaniel, Sean McDaniel, Andrew McDaniel, Mandy McKendree; great grandchildren, Loralei McKendree, Maddox Hunt; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a son, William McDaniel, a granddaughter, Courtney Ann McDaniel, and siblings Delmer Williams, Chester Williams, May Johnston, Faye Gilreath, Christine Watson are also deceased. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (May 24, 2013) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Charles McMahan will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in Greens Fork, Indiana.
