Betsy Lee Garner, age 87, of Richmond, passed away on January 19, 2023 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville. She was born in Bradford, Ohio on March 16, 1935 to Samuel Eugene and Hazel Leona Selby Tuttle. Betsy had lived in the Richmond area most of her life, was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and she was an accomplished seamstress. She was a retired 20-year employee of Alcoa where she worked as an inspector/packer. Betsy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Robert Grimes, Alice Isaacs, Sue Schultz and Wayne Mull; siblings Phyllis Summers and Fayetta Lines; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her children William Grimes, Laura Scheer, Mary Wooten and Peggy Grimes Mull; siblings Roy Minnich, Lois Aslinger, Mable Kiser and Martha Kiser.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at Riggle-Waltermann. Rev. Steve Lantz will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Elkhorn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset Betsy's expenses in care of the funeral home.
