Betty Jane Brittenham, age 88, of Richmond, died Monday morning (May 17, 2010) at Golden Living Center - Oakridge. She was born in Richmond on March 14, 1922 to Raymond J. and Mary Knauber Nolan and had lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Morton High School and had worked at Richmond Baking Company and at Hoffco. Betty was instrumental in the operation of Paulee Restaurant. She was a member of Saint Mary Church. Survivors include her husband of 59 years - Paul L. Brittenham; daughters - Sally (Roger) Miller of Richmond, Sue (Tony) Vaziri of Indianapolis, Beth (Chuck) Foster of Richmond; sister - Rosemary Burns of San Diego, California; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday (May 19, 2010) in Saint Mary Church. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (May 19, 2010) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Mary Church, % 240 South 6th St. Richmond, Indiana 47374.
