Betty L. Kirkman, age 78, of Richmond, died Monday morning (November 6, 2006) at her residence.� She was born in Richmond on September 6, 1928 to David and Jessie Light Carr and had lived here all of her life.� She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Eugene Kirkman;

Daughters - Joyce (Dennis) Spaeth of Arba, Indiana,

Cindy (Roy) Smith of Virginia; Grandchildren - Robert (Stephanie) Engelbert and Angie (Rich) Hannah; 3 Great Grandsons and 1 Great Granddaughter; Niece - Patty Williams and two special canine friends "Matt" and "Casey"

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday (November 10, 2006) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Don Miller and Rev. David Leffel will officiate.� Burial will be in Hoover-Bulla Cemetery.� Friends may call on Thursday (November 9, 2006) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.� www.riggle-waltermann.com
