Betty Holliday Pope, age 81, of Richmond, died Sunday (December 7, 2003) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Abington, Indiana on August 14, 1922 to William and Alice Woods Holliday and had lived in this area most of her life. She had worked at Hamburger King and JM Hutton Casket Company and was a retired employee of Reid Hospital where she had worked in the newborn nursery and also in material processing. She had also worked for Richmond Community Schools Food Service at Dennis Middle School. She attended First United Methodist Church. Her husband, Robert Pope, died in 1977.

Grandsons - Tony (wife Kim) Pope of New Paris, Ohio
Joe Reichter II of Key West, Florida
Great Grandsons - Justin, Nathan and Ethan Pope of New Paris, Ohio
Nieces & Nephews
Two brothers, Earnest and Charles Holliday, and four sisters, Edna Davis, Juanita Wilmore, Thelma Nye and Mary Kelly are also deceased.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday (December 11, 2003) in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Mark Wesler will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (December 10, 2003) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
