Betty Jean Powell, age 77, of Richmond, died Monday evening (May 21, 2007) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Richmond on December 16, 1929 to Oscar and Freda Hart Crouch and had lived here all of her life.�

Survivors include her husband - Daniel Powell, Jr.;� daughter - Sherry (Tim) Sluka of Lynn, Indiana; son - William Powell of Indianapolis;� sisters - Helen Grubbs of Richmond and Mary Downing of Richmond;� grandchildren - Amanda Sluka and Christopher (Tia) Powell,

nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents,� two brothers, Arthur Crouch and Junior Crouch, and a sister, Esther Warvel, are also deceased.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday (May 25, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev.
