Billy Reece, age 72, passed away on Monday (March 13th 2017) at his home. He was born in Richmond on December 2nd 1944 to Floyd and Margaret Reece. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korea conflict. He had worked at Mosey as a machinist and tool maker. Billy later became a journeyman electrician in Phoenix, Arizona, and later in Muncie, Indiana when he moved back home. He was a member of the VFW, and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He loved time with his family, especially his nephews David Lawrence and Holberd Mays Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years Cynthia Reece; Son Sean Reece of Richmond; step son Christopher Helms of Richmond; ex step daughter Shelly of Eaton, Ohio; nephews David Lawrence of Richmond, and Holberd Mays Jr. of Franklin, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings.

There are no public services planned at this time. Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
