Birdene F. Gruetzmacher, age 88, of Richmond, died Sunday (March 21, 2010) at Golden Living Center - Oakridge. She was born in Neillville, Wisconsin on January 7, 1922 to William Cyrus and Elsie Richmond and had lived here for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Leslie G. Gruetzmacher, died on March 21, 2002 Survivors include her children - Michael Gruetzmacher of Braidwood, Illinois, Gordon Gruetzmacher of Peyton, Colorado and Donna Gruetzmacher of Richmond; grandchildren - Heidi Jane Gruetzmacher, Matthew Austin Gruetzmacher, Gary Travis Johnson, Daniel Robert Young, William Michael Young, Paul Bradley Gruetzmacher, Jay Gordon Gruetzmacher, Laura Lynn Gruetzmacher, Michael Gordon Gruetzmacher, Crystal Rae Gruetzmacher, Laci Renee Gruetzmacher; 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, a daughter, Linda Jones, and four siblings are also deceased. Family and friends will gather on Sunday (April 11, 2010) from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the family residence (43 N.W. "J" Street) to celebrate Birdene's life. www.riggle-waltermann.com
