Obituary

Bradley Spears Smith, age 54, of Richmond, died early Saturday morning (June 19, 2004) at his residence. He was born in Geneva, New York on December 2, 1949 to Charles F. "Red" and Dorothy Spears Smith and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a graduate of Richmond High School and of Indiana University. He had worked for Western-Southern Life Insurance Company, for Paust Printers and for Rosa's Office Supply. He had been an active member of the Richmond Jaycees and he continued as active participant with the Indiana JCI Senate. He was an avid car racing fan. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church. His father, Charles F. "Red" Smith, died in 1978.
Survivors include - Mother - Dorothy Smith of Richmond
Brother - Chuck (wife Dee) Smith of Richmond
Step-children - Nona and Noah
2 Nieces and 1 Nephew
Very dear friends - Alma Austin of Webster, New York
Danny Smith of Colorado
Bill Smith of Richmond
Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday (June 22, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor John Walker will officiate. Entombment will be in Earlham Mausoleum. Friends may call on Tuesday (June 22, 2004) from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the funeral home.
